Introduction 

This document outlines the recommended Service and Maintenance procedures for all Novacorr Healthcare products. Regular maintenance ensures product longevity, optimal performance, and compliance with warranty conditions. This guide is intended for Facility Managers, Maintenance Teams, and Approved Service Technicians. 

 

Maintenance Responsibilities

Perform daily visual checks before use 

Conduct annual comprehensive service and safety inspections 

Clean products regularly following cleaning guide 

Provide technical repairs and adjustments 

Report any faults or unusual wear to Novacorr 

Supply replacement parts as required 

Maintain service records of in-house inspections 

Provide product usage and maintenance training sessions

Visual Inspection Checklist 

  • Check for visible damage to frame, welds, and structural components. 

  • Inspect upholstery for tears, wear, or contamination. 

  • Ensure castors/wheels are securely fastened and function correctly. 

  • Test actuator movements for smooth and complete function. 

  • Verify remote control and electronic functions. 

  • Ensure all fasteners, bolts, and locking mechanisms are tight. 

 

Cleaning Instructions 

  • Use warm water with a mild detergent. 

  • Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. 

  • Disinfect surfaces following facility infection control protocols. 

  • Dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rust or corrosion. 

  • Do not immerse electrical components in water. 

 

Service & Repairs 

Only trained Novacorr technicians or approved service agents should perform repairs or component replacements. Unauthorized repairs may void warranty coverage. 

 

Service Records & Documentation 

Maintain a Service Log including: 

  • Date of inspection/service. 

  • Details of tasks performed. 

  • Noted defects and corrective actions. 

  • Technician’s name and signature.
